Admiral installations assist the Master during the final stages of berthing and manoevering in confined waters. The accurate outline of the ship and the ability to place the GPS antenna relative to the fore and aft and athwartships axis is very reassuring. The accuracy of the charts is of course paramount under these tight circumstances but in most commercial ports the survey data is modern and reliable. The screens have a Picture in Picture function PiP which allows CCTV images to be presented simultaniously.
